Terms of Reference
The terms of reference must necessarily have the details of your company and information below:
-
In case of request for frequency converter (control cabinet), please inform:
-
Name of the electric motor or mechanism
-
Motor power, current, voltage
-
Drive assignment and desired operation logic
-
Inverter protection level by IP.
2. Automation reqest case:
-
Describe the parameters of the detail (weight, drawing, material, photo)
-
Describe the operation which need to be performed automatically
-
Provide Drawings, plans, passports for related equipment involved in the cycle
-
In the case of technical vision, the collection of photographs of parts that pass and do not pass control
The more quantitative parameters you tell us, the less time we spend negotiating and quoting for you.
If your task is typical, then we will immediately make an offer on cost and equipment.
If the task is unique or rather complex, then in order to formulate a proposal we will need to develop a project. This is a paid procedure, the cost of which is determined by the TOR for the design after your request and clarification of the task. The TOR itself is formed by both parties and we are responsible only for the parameters calculated by us for our devices we supply.
Example #1
For example, a robot whose task is to move a workpiece cannot influence its temperature \ shape \ dimensions, therefore we cannot be responsible for these parameters . We can only be responsible for the coordinate where to take the workpiece, where to put it, with what speed and accuracy.
In the terms of reference, we will sign the parameters by temperature, we will not sign the dimensions of the part.
Example #2
The inverter that controls the pump can actually only control the frequency of its rotation, and the performance and pressure that the pump develops are already indirectly related to the frequency converter through the frequency of rotation. We cannot be directly responsible for pressure or performance, so we will not sign the parameters for pressure / performance in the terms of reference.
